Leading Hotels of the World

Website Redesign

Composed of more than 400 hotels in 80 countries, Leading Hotels of the World, Ltd. is one of the largest luxury hotel collections on the globe. LHW hotels are in the business of cultural opulence: an extremely high standard of service and product that's capitalized by offering exceptional guest experiences that embody the essence of their destination.

“We needed to design a site that appealed to a more savvy global audience who are looking for a simple booking experience while also having an abundance of new rich content to complement the research process.”
- Phil Koserowski, Vice President of Interactive Marketing at LHW

Sophisticated Meets Flexible

LHW’s core brand is sophisticated and classic. Our goal was to merge these characteristics with a modular design system that resulted in LHW’s digital presence feeling upscale, relevant and tech-savvy while also giving the internal team the flexibility to scale the design across 400 hotels and additional curated content.

Capturing Essence

Our goal was to capture the unique essence and remarkable details of each property through rich and luxurious photography paired with property info, highlights, features, awards/accolades and local info/events.

“A primary challenge was how to craft content that accurately captures the unique qualities of our more than 400 distinctive, independent hotels, and to present that content in such a way that viewers would have a consistently enjoyable, engaging online experience. We are particularly proud that we have accomplished that goal.”
- Claudia Kozma Kaplan, SVP & Chief Marketing Officer at LHW

Simple Booking & Checkout

A one-page reservation process makes booking a room, adding extra rooms, viewing offers and rates, and changing currency simple and efficient. A three-step checkout process further streamlines the transaction by capturing preferences, special requests, and allowing the space for upselling and add-ons.
